I have always known that horses would be an important part of my life. I have been involved in the horse industry since the age of 8, showing for many years in the hunter/jumper discipline on the Trillium Circuit. My family owns both hunter/jumpers and Standardbred race horses, as well as running a boarding facility in Bowmanville, Ontario. I have worked extensively with race horses, riding horses and polo horses as well as training several hunters that are currently showing on the Trillium and A circuit. In 2011 I had the pleasure of backing and training a 3 year old warmblood gelding, placing 8th in the Lieutenant Governor's cup at the Royal Winter Fair. Again in 2014 I was very lucky to have had the chance to go to the Royal Winter Fair again with a beautiful 3 year old mare and placed 5th in the Lieutenant Governor Cup.

After spending several years working part time as a veterinary technician for McKee-Pownall in Millbrook, Ontario (while attending University) I decided to turn my passion for working with horses into a career as an Equine Massage Therapist.I have been incredibly lucky to have had many important opportunities and experiences in the horse industry that I feel have allowed me to become a more well-rounded therapist.

As a Registered Equine Massage Therapist (REMT) I am proud to be a member in good standing with the International Federation of Registered Equine Massage Therapists. I abide by the code of ethics as well as the standards of practice of the IFREMT. I completed my 2200 hours of education at the D'Arcy Lane Institute School of Equine Massage Therapy. I graduated in July 2012 with the Academic Achievement Award, as well as an Ambassador Award.
